Argentina defeated Colombia 3-2 in a penalty shootout to advance to the Copa América final after the match ended in a 1-1 draw on Tuesday night at the Mané Garrincha Stadium in Brasília, Brazil.

Lautaro Martínez scored the winning penalty kick for Argentina, while Emiliano Martínez saved three of Colombia's five penalty attempts. Lionel Messi and Rodrigo De Paul also scored penalty kicks for Argentina, while Duván Zapata and Miguel Borja scored for Colombia.

The match was a close and evenly contested affair, with both teams having chances to win the game in regulation. Argentina took the lead in the seventh minute when Lautaro Martínez scored a goal from close range after a pass from Lionel Messi. Colombia equalized in the 61st minute when Luis Díaz scored a goal from outside the box.

The match went to a penalty shootout after extra time ended in a 1-1 draw. Argentina converted all three of its penalty kicks, while Colombia missed three of its five attempts. Emiliano Martínez was the hero for Argentina, saving three of Colombia's penalty attempts.

Argentina will face Brazil in the Copa América final on Saturday night at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
